“Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young at a place near your altar, O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God!” Psalms 84:3

Ok, let's be honest. Building a house is similar to having a baby. You dream about your child to come, and you are over the moon when they are born but the labor can be a nightmare!
Did you know that people spend an average of 182 hours a year in their bathroom? Wow! That is a lot of time. If you are going to spend that much time in a room you should like it.
Of all the rooms in my house I think the master bedroom feels the most like me. I walk in and smile. I feel relaxed like I am wrapped in a cocoon or a welcome hug. I think most of what created these feelings in this room are the colors. Colors can do so much for our mood.
The kitchen fills up both bellies and hearts. It is the gathering place, the common ground of the home. It is like it has a magnetic pull or its own gravity. When people come over it seems to be where everyone goes.
One of my favorite things in my house are my gallery walls. I love a good gallery wall. They are so interesting, and they add so much personality to a space. If you can’t pick one picture why not have as many as you want, and don't limit yourself to pictures!
Plugs in the eves and duel fuel AC.
Storage for kettles and chargers you can’t see.
A tankless water heater and the joy that it brings.
These are a few of my favorite things.
Come on in and sit a spell. The family room is my favorite place to visit and take in the view.
Home is where the hearth is. At least in our family our hearts gather around the hearth.
Dual purpose rooms. Do those words give you nightmares? Don’t let them. With some simple tips you can pull off a room that functions well as both.
